Project “METCO: Promoting Learning, Improving Mushroom Cultivation Facilities (Bua Roey Temple School)”
Over the past two years, educational institutions have had to adapt to online learning methods due to the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to reduce face-to-face interactions and maintain social distancing. Additionally, physical activities aimed at student development have been shifted to online platforms. However, with the improving COVID-19 situation in the country and the continuous relaxation of measures, schools can now resume normal operations.
In 2022, Muramoto Electron (Thailand) Public Company Limited initiated the “METCO: Promoting Learning, Improving Mushroom Cultivation Facilities” project. This project involves upgrading the mushroom cultivation facilities of Bua Roey Temple School, which have been inactive for over two years. Additionally, it includes supporting the provision of 200 mushroom spawn bags and teaching cultivation techniques, maintenance, and establishing distribution channels.
This project aims not only to support the school in reducing expenses and increasing income through product sales during the pandemic but also to foster community participation and strengthen relationships between the company, school, and community.
