Project “METCO: Building a Safe Community with Bright Lights (Koh Juan Community)”
In 2020, Muramoto Electron (Thailand) Public Company Limited played a part in community care amidst the COVID-19 pandemic by installing electrical systems, water pumps, and sprinkler systems for kitchen garden cultivation in the Koh Juan Community. This initiative aimed to promote community self-sustainability, reduce expenses, increase income, and foster ongoing social activities. In 2021, to continue this commitment, the company established the project “METCO: Building a Safe Community with Bright Lights.” This involved installing bright lighting systems along pathways in the Koh Juan Community to enhance convenience and safety for residents. The project received voluntary support from company representatives and community members who collaborated to install the lighting systems. The project ran from June to August 2021.
In addition to promoting community safety and well-being, the support aimed to foster community participation and strengthen relationships between the company and the community.
