METCO’s Build the safety Corridors for community project (At Koh Juan community)
Muramoto Electron (Thailand) Public Company Limited is aware of conducting business along with caring for society and therefore continues to carry out social activities. In 2023, the company established the project “METCO’s Build the safety corridors for community” at Koh Juan community, following a discussion with community representatives and finding that the road used for community transportation was rough, flooded, and narrow. The road was also used as a shared walkway with motorcycles and bicycles, which has an impact on the lives, livelihoods and safety of people in the community. The Company therefore joined with the community to find a solution to this problem and thus established a project. This is to provide convenience and safety to commuters in the community and to be a part of reducing accidents and losses that may occur.
Developing a community environment that is convenient and safe is one way to help promote a better quality of life for the community. In addition, the objective is to create participatory activities and build good relationships between the Company and the community in another way.
